Now is a Good Time to Start Those Christmas Cards!

I’ll admit it, I am a horrible procrastinator!  I always wait for the last minute!  I am going to try to be better this year about getting my Christmas Cards out sooner.  So I thought I would share with you my Christmas Cards from 2010 and 2011.  I can’t show you 2012 yet because of course it’s not done yet!  I have designed my cards in MDS (My Digital Studio) for the past two years.

Christmas 2010

The Embellishment is from Christmas Jingle which came with the Original MDS software.  It’s not available anymore, but can very easily be replaced by any embellishment such as one from “Letters to Santa”.  With this card I printed it as a 5X7 and then mounted it on Card stock and sent it out that way.  This was before Stampin’ Up! lowered their printing prices so I had to cut some costs, but now they are so much cheaper!

Last year I used the “Letters to Santa” Digital Kit as well as some pictures that were taken during a photo shoot with Scott Quady.  He does great photography and captured the most amazing picture of Anya when she fell asleep.  I made that photo the focus by making it the bigger picture in the bunch.

Christmas 2011

Don’t forget that My Digital Studio is on sale until November 28th, so get it now while it is 50% off.  I think you will find it is very user friendly and easy to use.  Plus there is a great online community that offers tons of ideas and tutorials and forums that have thousands of posts (and a search tool!).

So – no more procrastinating!  Get your MDS2+ today and start those Christmas cards!  Or photo book, or calendar, or journal, or whatever you want to create!  Click Here to shop now!
